We all have a different set of spokes and wheels that get us from place to place, but what I sometimes forget is that in our conglomeration of traits also resides the element of choice. A man I listen to, respect, and trust, recently reminded me that you can find joy in ANY circumstance. Wow really? Any circumstance? Yes please! I am putting his words into practice and looking for JOY everywhere in my life. It isn’t always easy to find but when I look for it, wa-bamm! there it is. It is commonly known that if you focus on the rock in your bike path, your bike tire will run right into it. And conversely if you focus on the pathway around it you will sail right by. I have definitely found this to be true for me. As I navigate my path, I am assured my own set of bumps and bruises, but these bumps and bruises have shown me that my focus really matters! And from this point forward I plan to hit JOY head on!
